BTIL specializes in recruitment and executive search for the non-profit development and humanitarian sector. We understand that the right person at the right position can lead to more funding for the right stakeholders, more effective campaigns leading to a social change, more education for children, less child labor and equal rights for women & children.
Supporting humanitarian and development organizations by helping them fill in key positions with best talent available is our way of contributing to their good cause. Overall, we would like to help our clients bringing in leaders that can bring sustainability to their work and better life for the communities.
Our Strengths: Our senior consultants come with years of experience of working with the development and humanitarian sector. That make us very suitable to not only quickly understand the
technical requirement of the position but also a good grasp of the culture and values of our client. When we provide recruitment services to our clients, we not only look at the “technical aspects” of the position but also collect detailed understanding from the client about the other organizational needs from the role. We decide with them on the non-negotiable values for the organization that they would like each employee to come with and know before joining.
Our Solution to Client Requirements:
We believe in long term relations with the clients even if we are engaged for single hiring, still our methodology remains the same. If there is a time constraint we put in extra hours but do not
compromise on the quality of work.
Phase I:
We will start by getting a good understanding of client work, culture and values. We do this by getting in contact with HR and Line manager for the particular position or if allowed some other key members to fully understand the requirement from the candidate in terms of technical expertise but also in terms of expected behavior. We understand that successful selection is the one that not only brings in technical knowledge but also gel in with the team and has positive effect on organization culture and working
environment of the department.
Phase II:
After clear understanding the position and other requirements, we start looking for candidates. We only short-list people who not only fulfill the criteria but are also known for their good work. We categories CV and only send the “A” grade CVs to the client.
The total estimated time for Phase I and Phase II is 5 to 7 working days. (This can vary depending on the technical expertise required)
Phase III:
If client will be satisfied with the presented CVs then we stop our search till client conducts the interview and comes on the final decision of selection. If client requires BTIL to support in interview questions/test or other recruitment process we will be willing to support that as well.
Our Method of Working:
We will initially provide top 3 to 5 CVs to select from with the summary of each candidate including his/her strength and weakness. We don’t believe in flooding clients with CVs knowing that half of them are not up to mark.
Going the Extra Mile:
If for any reason the selected candidate resigns or leaves during the probation, we will provide the next list of candidates free of cost.
